“The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing” – Albert Einstein
A few years ago at an education conference in the UK the Dalai Lama was the key note speaker. He spoke about September 11 2001.
He reminded us that what happened on that day did not happen by accident. It took a focussed team of intelligent people working together in a very effective and efficient way to achieve what was achieved.
The Dalai Lama continued – so if we wish to succeed in creating more peace and a better world for all, then we must come together with the same level of commitment, the same level of focus and the same level of efficiency.
This is your invitation to be part of that solution to a greater world for all, simply by being present at a peace concert in Dublin tonight at 7.30pm in Stillorgan Park hotel. It’s not about coming along because “it’s going to be a great concert” (albeit that’s the intention), rather it’s simply about YOU showing up!
World peace may not happen in our lifetime, who really knows, but let us show future generations that we cared.
The cost for the evening is €35. If this is a challenge for anyone we will gratefully accept any donation. Simply put it in an envelope marked donation and give it in at registration.
If you are unable to join us physically this evening please take a few moments to be still, connect in with us at some level and hold a vision for world peace.
With deep appreciation
