I cannot imagine the obstacles these two had to overcome with just the skeptics and naysayers alone. The belief they had in themselves to become performers of their art must've been immense, and tremendously inspiring. And those who would also believe in them and choreograph for them and be willing to celebrate their courage and faith with them had to feel both honored and heroic. I've never seen or even heard of such a victory over tragedy as this, but as an ex-dancer of over 20 years, I cried the whole way through and I will continue applauding them in my heart.
