Lets celebrate what we love about life on 9/11. We are the ones still here and what we do will affect our children and future generations. And if we “accentuate the positive” in our own lives and in the world, this is what will grow and there will be more of it around for our children and future generations. So let’s celebrate 9/11!
On 11th September 2011 I’m participating in an Ironman Triathlon in Wales – www.IronmanWales.com (thats 3.8km swim, 180km cycle and 42km run) and I’ve decided to dedicate my participation in the race to World Peace, particularly as it is the 10th anniversary of 9/11. In particular I am dedicating it to all those people whose lives have been cut short on 9/11 and subsequently in whatever conflict. I’m sure most of them, from whatever country, creed or causse would tell us “Celebrate your life, you never know when it will end!”
Also I’m sure some of you know the 21st September is World Peace Day. This is another special day around the world for celebrating world peace and I’m glad to say there is an International Peace Conference happening in Dublin, Ireland on that day in the Dublin Convention Center. There are many speakers and performers coming to it from Ireland and abroad (Australia, Canada, the UK, Germany, Italy …), including myself and I’m sure it will be a fantastic event.
Some of the other speakers include Sean Gallagher, Michael D Higgins, Brandon Bays, Mairead Maguire (Nobel peace prize winner) and many others. For a list of all speakers click here

See you there! Be Inspired!
