There’s a great scandanavian saying which says:
“Faith is the bird that feels the dawn coming and sings even when it’s still dark”.
You see what if all the challenges we face in life, most particularly the ones we dont want or like, is the universe helping us align our lives with what is truly important and in fact what we may have signed up for in the first place? If this is the case then surely one of the most important emotions we must feel is gratitude.
Our gratitude acknowledges this universal intelligence which is helping us on our way and just like all of us the universe likes to be appreciated. On the other hand if we feel bad about lifes unwanted challenges it takes longer to learn the lessons been offered and can create an emotional habit pattern of being miserable and victimised, which I’m sure most of us do not want.
So this week be like the faithful bird, singing joyously and happily even when there appears to be chaos on the outside. At least instead of responding to adversity in a negative way, rise to the challenge and realise the lessons you need to learn – smile even when its the last thing you feel like doing. There will come a day when it will all make perfect sense and may that day be today.
