What do you think is going on in our world? What’s all the perceived chaos about?
On a global level the financial system has proved to be unworkable even though we’re still trying to rescue it thinking it can just carry on as before. Many of the worlds religions are having their shadowy dark past revealed and some are still trying to deny it. Many many businesses are going out of business. There seems to be changing weather patterns and some still think we can control it.
On an individual level we are all feeling the changes. The foundation on which we based our lives are changing. In the past we may have put our security in our finances – if we had enough in the bank or shares or property or wherever, we felt we were safe. Now for many these are worthless.
We may have felt “safe” if we had a job. Again for many this has now gone. Many relationships are ending after years of being together, the security we felt in that relationship has also gone. There is much change in our world right now.
But is there a bigger agenda at work? I believe there is.
The “old world” where a lot was hidden from the masses is being brought to the surface (with a lot of help from wikileaks of course). Those who tried to control the masses are now finding that it’s not as easy as it used to be. But they are not willing to let go of the “old world” because that is how they held on to their perceived “power”. Â But end it will as no one can stop an idea whose time has come.
On an individual level we are also struggling to accept change. We would like things to be the way they used to be in the “old days” – loads of job opportunities and wealth, we could get away with having hidden agendas in what we did, we could deny the calling of our heart and work like crazy to “look good” in front of others.
For better or worse the universe is moving on. A new world is being born. A world in which we all must base our lives on such values as truth, honesty, integrity, kindness, peace for all, love, sharing and caring.
Will this transistion be difficult? Only as difficult as we choose. If we try and hold on to old ways of being in the world we will create struggle and strife. If we embrace the change, trust that it is for the best and play our part in allowing it to happen it will be a lot easier. Difficult though it may be to comprehend at this moment in time, the world is actually becoming a far better place for everyone.
So embrace change in your own life. Let go of the old. Know that what we are seeing is much like a birth – once it is time for the child to be born, there is nothing that will keep it in the womb. It may like the safety, security and warmth it has in the womb but when the time is right, it will be born.
And so our world is being born anew. None of us can stop it. So let’s embrace it. Let’s welcome it  and know that with it a greater humanity is emerging from the shadows.
A greater humanity , I believe, Â in which we have all learnt to love one another totally unconditionally (which on a practical level means we don’t decide to fall out with people because they have done something we didn’t like or not done something we would have liked – it is not up to us to try and control anyone, it is up to us to learn to love everyone!).
A greater humanity is one in which we have all learnt that acting out of selfish needs is bondage while feeding others is freedom. The new world that is emerging is one of harmony, peace and plenty for all. Welcome it on all levels. And at the moment of its birth we will, perhaps for the first time in human history, realise “heaven on earth”
